Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, friends!Here in Tennessee, today is one of those beautiful fall days with bright foliage, warm sunshine and a crisp wind blowing swirls of leaves down the sidewalks.

Fall has most definitely come to town, and everyone I met today has been cheery and helpful. I even saw smiles and courtesy at Wal-mart and the post office, where people typically seem harried and closed-off.

I'm not sure whether it's the crisp sunshine streaming in the windows or the fun of a costume-wearing, candy-munching holiday, but I am always thankful for an uplifting day such as this one!
