Oh Happy Day! It's the weekend!

Here in Tennessee, it's a gorgeous and sunny Saturday.  My favorite kind of day!

The sunflowers Ben had delivered for our 2-year anniversary are still sunny and bright on the mantel more than a week later. They are my favorite flowers and are a happy reminder of the décor at our beautiful little wedding. Such a lovely day!

On sunny days such as this one,  I really long for the small chores of childhood -- "clean your room, vacuum the stairs, and then you can go play tag in the yard."  ...Ah, the good old days. Unfortunately, will have to spend at least part of the day acting like adults -- we have several bullets on our "honey do" checklist.

Yurgh. Does anybody want to play tag?
